EU-verdict tomorrow
2012-04-18Tomorrow the Court of Justice of the European Union will leave its ruling in the E-phone-case (C-461/10). The Court will decide if the directives on data retention are interfering with the right to information according to the Directive on Civil Enforcement.
The advocates-general Niilo Jääskinen presented his opinion in November last year. He came to the conclusion that it is possible to reveal the subscriber information as long as the information has been stored for that purpose.
